A: The EVA mats may have a slight new mat smell, but it's not the same as toxic plastic odors. After cleaning and airing in a ventilated area, the smell will gradually disappear.

Each piece might have slight color and height variations, but the differences will be within 5% of the product specifications and won't affect normal use.

Q6: Why do the taekwondo mats feel slippery?

A: When the mats are removed from the mold, there's a layer of non-toxic grease on them. You can remove it by washing the mats with household detergent or a good degreasing cleaner.

Q7: Do reversible mats accumulate dirt underneath?

A: Our EVA reversible mats have tightly fitting interlocking teeth, so dust doesn't easily get through the seams.

Since the mats are foam products, the thickness can cause slight pulling during the interlocking process, temporarily deforming the teeth. After some use, the seams will return to normal, and dust won't accumulate underneath.

If you spill liquid, it won't immediately seep through the entire mat.

[Quick Tip] Thicker mats might temporarily deform at the interlocking edges due to repeated assembly and disassembly. Adjust the interlocking angle and press down lightly on the seams to increase the tightness between mats.
